Transferred onto a Permit in 2012, the aircraft has been very well maintained and is in overall very good condition.

As at July 2025 the engine has only done 250 hours SMOH.

A new Permit has now been issued, and this EXPIRES on the 30th JULY 2026.

Over the last 15 months MZ has had considerable money spent on it, including new engine mounts/bolts, tail wheel rubbers and hardware replaced, ALL engine oil hoses and fuel hoses replaced, u/c torque links rebushed, flap cables and fairleads replaced, new canopy sliding blocks fitted etc etc.

Very good levels of fatigue hours remain, and there has been a low level of utilisation over the last ten years - all of which have been on role factor 1.

The Chipmunk is based at Wycome Air park (Booker) and has always been hangared.
