The ROTAX engine can be selected from an 80 hp 13l/h to 100 hp 17 l/h for better performance. The airplane can be equipped with three different engines according to the necessities of clients. Props The propeller is FAR 33 certified made of wood and composite materials to improve durability.

The cockpit has an excellent 360 view for the pilots and it was designed to improve the awareness and flight instruments observation. The seats are comfortable and incorporate a head support and 3-point safety seat belt. The cockpit has heating and fresh air opening for comfortable long flights.

Manufacturing:The Petrel is manufactured with 70% National materials which speeds up maintenance. The Dacron liner, Clerici Composite Propeller and Tenaris aircraft steel shafts were manufactured exclusively for the development of the Petrel.Fuselage:The Petrel 912i fuselage consists of a reticular structure of SAE 4130 steel tubes welded with a MIG process, with a reinforced cabin that surrounds and protects the pilots, designed to absorb impacts in case of accidents.AT:The wings of the Petrel 912 i have the latest generation GA 30315 airfoil.In its construction, a rectangular conformation has been adopted instead of the trapezoidal one, considering the advantages for construction, maintenance and cost reduction.Undercarriage:They are SAE 4340 steel bars tempered and tempered with certified processes, which ensure traceability, hardness and elasticity of our landing gear.Engine/Propeller:The Petrel uses the 80 hp (13 l/h) Rotax 912 F2 FAR 33 engine for the VLA version as an initial proposal.
