Work required to Pass ACR:
RH main wheel bearing noisy: General wear and tear
Flaps have never had an internal inspection, inspection holes drilled as per MM, heavy corrosion found and will require further work possibly de-riveting to see inside and repaired. This should have been done at Annual
Play in trim barrel re-shimming required.
Heavy corrosion on steel bracket behind step as per photo previously sent Skins are salvageable but a new bracket will be required:
Nose leg fork has been removed to satisfy CAA Safety notice 2024-002 heavy corrosion found around the bolt holes nose fork will need replacing;
Oil cooler support baffle cracked
Spinner badly cracked & will require replacement:
HT leads frayed.
Carb heat flap bushes worn
Mixture control bush missing
Magneto timing needs adjustment
Aileron Rigging system needs adjusting to allow stops to be hit
Both wing roots have cracks in the lower skins and will require further investigation
Both stabilator trim tabs have cracks in the outer ribs which will require repair/replacement:
Parking brake flexible hose suspected leak
Fuel tank sender/gauge relationship to be investigated
Door window frame in very poor condition allow:
Engine hoses are out of date
A weight report & mass and balance report would be required Required for ARC issue
Flight manual VB-39 to be updated Required for ARC issue
Numerous placards are feint and will need replacing Required for ARC issue
