For sale is my Glasfl gel H-206 Hornet, S/N 30, manufactured in 1976.
A very complete and well-documented example with only 1,916 flight hours and 721 launches.
The aircraft has a complete history and documentation. It has always been stored in its trailer, with the trailer kept inside a hangar during the winter months.
Annual inspection completed 10 April 2026 at 1,916 h / 721 launches, including the applicable recurring Hornet inspections. All mandatory AD done.
ARC valid until APRIL 2027.
The Hornet is a classic Glasfl gel design with the typical excellent handling, automatic control connections and very effective trailing-edge airbrakes. It remains an enjoyable and capable Club Class aircraft while being simple and economical to own.
This is a complete package: glider, Cobra trailer, covers and all the ground-handling equipment required to operate independently. Old parachute is available for free
Full aircraft history, maintenance documentation and additional photographs available to serious buyers.
Airplane time state:
Airframe life limit is 12,000 hours, giving more than 10,000 hours remaining. The first 3,000-hour life-extension inspection is still 1,084 flight hours away.
Both tow releases have plenty of life remaining, with only 481 launches on the E72 and 240 launches on the SH72.
