Description
It's a 1965 M20E, which had an engine out on takeoff, 130ft in the air. Landed on the airport side in the gras, but ran through the airport fence (hence the equidistant fence pole impact point in the leading edge). The nose gear collapsed eventually.
The engine and aircraft did not leak any liquids - no oil, no hydraulics, no fuel (thanks to the bladders!!). Also, the engine wasn't tuning any more, when the nose gear collapsed. Therefore only two blades are bent backwards. The engine pretty much looks undamaged on the outside.
PROs:
- engine and engine mount look ok
- tail is ok
- 64 Gal Griggs Bladder from 2019!!
- new gear puks in 2022
- new skytec starter in 2020
- flaps look ok
- main landing gear looks ok
- all analogue instruments available
- new PCU5000 governor availabe, which wasn't yet installed on the aircraft
- S-TEC30 still working (TC overhauled in 2021!!)
CONs:
- wing pretty much destroyed(except for the bladders), spar twisted
- nose gear collapsed
- front window cracked
- 2 prop blades bent
- steel tubes bent in front (cabin door doesn't close fully)
- flight controlls stuck
Airplane time state:
TTAF 3266:54
Engine Lycoming IO-360-A1A, SMOH: 1445:39
Avionics

Additional Features
The pale includes the 64 Gal 8-bladder Griggs tanks, which sell for 10k$ (plus shipping, plus import VAT) at the moment (when they're available at all). The bladders were installed in late 2019 and are like new. In cruise with full tanks, I've regularly seen 8h of endurance @145 KTAS on my engine monitor. That was plenty of range to fly non-stop to Africa from southern Germany.
Can be looked at and must be picked up at EDMA at buyers expense.
