Description

If you are looking for a four seater aircraft to travel in with family and friends, please read on.

A rare gem has come on the market here. This 1974 PA-28R-200 Arrow II is being sold by a small flying group. The group is buying another aircraft to fulfil new requirements.

When Piper introduced the Arrow II, they meant business. Increasing engine power from 180 to 200HP and adding extra legroom for the passengers and luggage gave it the edge it needed.

Its fuel injected normally aspirated Lycoming IO-360 engine is well known for its durability. There is no troublesome and expensive turbocharging system yet the aircraft climbs comfortably up to FL090-100 on its frequent IFR dispatches out of Dublin.

You can plan on 8-10 GPH for 130-140kt TAS (depending on cruising level), delivering outstanding economy of operation in the current environment.

This aircraft is a quick and comfortable mode of transport. It happily operates off 500m paved strips with a good safety margin.
This means you get to land close to your destination as well as arriving there in good time. Fly this plane like a pro and it will reward you in spades.

EDR has only been used for domestic and international business and leisure travel. It is VFR/IFR Day and Night certified and operates across those disciplines regularly. This plane has always been handled with care and attention to detail.

No expense has been spared on maintenance and upgrades. A full bare metal respray was performed in 2019. LED lights were also installed throughout (strobes, landing light, navigation lights).

There was a rewiring and full avionics upgrade in 2021 at RGV Aviation with a bluetooth audio panel and 8.33kHz radios installed. Nav/Com 1 is a Garmin GNS 430W coupled to dual Garmin G5 EFIS displays including TAS and wind direction/velocity sensors. This system is approved for LPV approach operations. There is an ADSB-Out enhanced surveillance transponder. The aircraft has multiple USB charging ports, a digital clock and great cockpit lighting for night operations. Full list of avionics below.

The door has been refurbished just this year due to age and seats have been redone in recent times.

The aircraft has been maintained under CAMO and is always hangered at its home base.

A new Cambrai cover protects the airframe when outside parking is required. External power receptacle with plug and leads included.

Airplane time state:
Engine has 1500 hours since overhaul and there are 6100 hours on the airframe. Hours change as the aircraft is regularly flown.
