Description

The Cessna 170 is an American light, single-engined, general aviation aircraft produced by the Cessna Aircraft Company between 1948 and 1956.
It is the predecessor of the Cessna 172, the most produced aircraft, which replaced the 170 in production in 1956.
In 1949 Cessna began marketing the 170A, an all-metal 170 with zero-dihedral wing tapered outboard of the slightly-enlarged plain flaps, and a single strut replacing the "V" strut of the 170. This and subsequent versions of the 170 shared the fin/rudder shape of the larger Cessna 190 and 195 models.

I-GUST

Cessna 170A I-GUST was meticulously restored with an excellent care for details. All work was carefully documented.
It was built in 1950 and since then it has accumulated 5,578 flight hours, to the date of the start of the restoration.
The engine on the same date had accumulated 1365 hours since the last overhaul.
The engine underwent a 100 hours inspection with some additional checks and gasket replacements, plus borescope to check cylinders.
After the restoration it flew about 25 hours. Flying characteristics are very well and straight like a spindle.
The engine runs very well, the oil pressure is excellent.

VAT was paid and import taxes too. All is well documented.

I-GUST flies under Italian Permit to Fly regulations but can be returned to the US register for approximately 9500 extra.
