Description
Swallow 2 37000Extremely rare 1930s monoplane in very original condition. Newbury Aeroplane Company (Ben Cooper) restoration, originally built at Hanworth Air Park (next door to Aston Martin) by British Aircraft Manufacturing. All airframe log books since first flight in 1935, 1154:50 hours total. Fitted with Pobjoy Niagara 3 radial with 121 hours since zero time. Permit to end August 2025. Lots of character and a delight to fly, a gentleman's flying armchair! Wings fold to minimise required hangar space (folded 8.3 x 5.0 mtrs). We have looked after it for 38 years, reason for sale is death of syndicate partner and closure of its home airstrip, it needs a new home now hence price reduced to 37000.
