150A 36,000Offered for sale this superb example of the classic Cessna 150A. Dating from 1961, this aircraft has never been used for training and still only has 4900 hours on the airframe. This was also given a full bare metal respray and corrosion proofing two years ago (photos available) so is in truly exceptional condition.
The engine is a RollsRoyce O-200 that was zero timed in 2003 and still only has 500 hours on it. It starts and runs beautifully.
The cockpit has been recently retrimmed and the panel is in excellent condition with a superb retro appeal whilst benefitting from a new Garmin nav/comm to bring it bang up to date.
Currently on a certificate of airworthiness, the LAA have already submitted an application for this aircraft to go onto an LAA permit and are expecting a positive outcome in the near future, which will then give the owner the choice of permit or CofA.
You will not find a nicer 150, the A is different in design and lighter than many later 150s, making it more responsive and a good 5 knots faster!
Can also run on mogas, although this has not been done so far.
