49500Very reluctantly, I have decided to sell my Europa XS G-IANI.
I bought her after selling my Christen Eagle with the aim of touring throughout Europe. I think Europas are excellent touring aircraft, cruising in excess of 120 kts and with the Turbo TAS at high altitudes is fast indeed. Airmaster CS prop. Payload wise, empty weight is 936 lbs, MTOW 1370.
She has a Trigg 8:33 and Mode S. a very basic autopilot, small D2.
I have invested a lot into this aircraft, new paint and interior, as I had hoped to keep her until I could no longer fly.
As a retired Commercial Pilot, I take maintenance very seriously, and since I have owned her she has been maintained by two very experienced engineers, both of whom are LAA inspectors, and her permit has just been renewed.
This decision to sell has been driven by various family issues which have resulted in me having very little spare time, not what I expected in retirement!
