Description

*Sale on hold*

I purchased this Cessna 177RG in 2023 and have greatly enjoyed flying it (still do). The Cardinal RG is a unique aircraft, offering a spacious cabin, excellent visibility, and smooth handling that truly sets it apart from other retractable-gear singles. With its efficient Lycoming IO-360 engine and retractable gear, it is an ideal cross-country cruiser that combines comfort with performance.

The aircraft benefits from valuable upgrades including GAMI fuel injectors and a Power Flow tuned exhaust. These modifications improve cruise performance (5-7 kts faster) and fuel economy (burning 2-4 litres less), making lean-of-peak operations smooth and reliable while reducing operating costs and giving it better rate of climb. In 2024, the aircraft also received ceramic paint preservation for long-term protection.

I am now selling simply because I have decided to move to a simpler, less complex aircraft that better suits my current flying style. This is an excellent opportunity for a new owner to step into a well-equipped and carefully maintained Cardinal RG that is above average in both condition and performance.

I would also be interested in a swap for someone looking to upgrade, for me something simple.
