Rans S6 1993. 369 hours airframe. Rotax 582. Only 17 hours since rebuild with Blue Top crank by Eccleston. New prop also 17 hours.
Was ready for PTF renewal back in Jan 24 but a long spell of bad weather and lack of available Inspector intervened. Eventually, continuing hangarage costs and no flying meant putting it into storage. It is totally complete and has just had the wings, empenage and rear fuselage section removed for space.
This is an original MK 1 with the rounded fuse top, with only one other in the UK. [G-BSSI]. Empty weight is just 213 Kg. Has a 35 ltr overhead tank which gives around 1and 3/4 hours safely. Please note that it is presently fitted with brembo hydraulic brakes and an intercom which I shall remove and supply the original units.The aircraft is in a hangar at Dunkeswell in Devon.
