I am selling my Pitts S-2A because of a change in personal circumstances. I own the aircraft since 2016, always hangared and carefully maintained. Used only for fun, no hard aerobatics or competition.

Factory built standard aircraft with serial number 2242. This is one of the last S-2A produced. She has wider fuselage, taller landing gear and symmetrical ailerons with spades. Basically she is an S-2B with a 4 cylinder engine but the much more economical operating costs of the S-2A.

She received a full restoration in 2000 with a ceconite lifetime covering. The most important change at this point of time was the Steve Wolf wing conversion with the plywood leading edge, eleminating all the Pitts wing problems.

ARC renewed in April 2026.
All ADs and SBs applied.
Aircraft is flown only by me the last 10 years and flys nearly every weekend.
Trust + insurance can be carried over.
EU-VAT is paid and documented.
Perfectly rigged and flies hands off.
