This is not simply an upgraded classic Cherokee. SE-FHG has undergone an extensive professional ground-up restoration carried out by aircraft maintenance and avionics shops.

The restoration went far beyond a conventional cosmetic refurbishment. The aircraft was extensively disassembled, including removal of the wings, allowing the airframe and internal structure to be thoroughly inspected, treated and professionally refinished. No corrosion was found during the restoration.
Comprehensive internal corrosion treatment was subsequently applied, and the internal structure and components were professionally painted with the parts disassembled in a professional paint booth - not simply oversprayed with the aircraft assembled.

The restoration also included a completely redesigned cockpit, new laser-cut aluminum instrument panel, complete new avionics wiring and cable harnesses, jacks and connectors, modern Garmin avionics, Garmin GFC 500 digital autopilot with electric pitch trim, a completely renewed interior and a professionally refinished exterior.
The result combines the simplicity, proven design and low operating costs of the classic PA-28 with the cockpit, equipment and appearance of a substantially more modern aircraft.

With its simple fixed-gear airframe, economical Lycoming O-320 and modernized cockpit, SE-FHG provides an exceptionally cost-effective and robust basis for IFR training, hour building and touring. Few aircraft combine such a proven and economical airframe with this level of modern avionics.

New laser-cut aluminum instrument panel.

Completely renewed interior in modern grey and anthracite tones, including new upholstery and new carpet kit.

Completely redesigned cockpit with a new laser-cut aluminum instrument panel in anthracite finish.

Complete new avionics wiring and cable harnesses, including new MIC/PHONE wiring, jacks and connectors. All old avionics wiring was removed during the upgrade - no old wiring leftovers.

Professionally refinished exterior in silver-grey metallic and deep black metallic with metallic particles, complemented by subtle orange accents.
High-gloss finish with matching wheel fairings and professional ceramic coating.

During the restoration, the aircraft was extensively disassembled, including removal of the wings. Internal structures and components were inspected, corrosion-treated and professionally painted with the parts disassembled in a professional paint booth. No simple overspray treatment was used.
Registration markings and decorative stickers are removable, allowing the exterior to be easily adapted to a new registration or individual appearance.

Currently Swedish registered. As an EASA-registered aircraft, transfer to another European EASA member state is possible. Registration markings are removable, allowing straightforward adaptation to a new registration.

The combination of a simple and proven PA-28 airframe, economical Lycoming O-320 engine and modern Garmin avionics makes SE-FHG a particularly attractive platform for cost-conscious IFR training, hour building, touring and private ownership.
