The aircraft was originally built for an attempt on the World Altitude record. This was abandoned for safety reasons. However 23,621 ft was recorded on 7th April 1990 by David Cook.
There is minor damage to underside of Wing (2cm x 1cm puncture in plywood, easy repair).
Last Permit Expired 12/2015 but is now SSDR since Sept 2018.
The aircraft is hangered in Hertfordshire.
