And because so many people have contacted me asking whether it's possible to buy my Lynton trailer in addition to the CD that's up for sale, I've had a change of heart and decided to offer them together as a package, as an option. The trailer has had a complete overhaul including the ramp, brakes, wheel bearings and tow hitch and has been fitted with lighting and 240v sockets powered by a small generator which will be included in the sale. It's probably the best Lynton around and is of course, completely dry. There is also a set of solo-rigging jigs which stash in the trailer, included in the price (see photos)...
The spec of the included Shadow for sale is as follows: G-MTFU, a Rotax DCDI 503-powered dual control CD, built in 1988 but looking much fresher due to a repaint and new fabric (done by Raymond Proost) in 2003. Airframe hours 428, engine 153 hours since bottom end overhaul.
She comes comes complete with aluminium fuel tanks, engine primer, NRV fuel bypass, new fuel lines, elevator gap seals, shoulder windows, aluminium wheels, noseleg inspection hatch (by Danny Crosbie), Crosbie tailplane bushes, new tinted canopy and hatch windows, Iridium spark plugs, composite Warpdrive propeller, Icom radio and two excellent ANR headsets, so a complete package, ready to fly.
She's in the BMAA Microlight category and has a fairly new Permit to Fly revalidation, to August 2024. All mods and SBs are of course signed off and up to date and there is comprehensive paperwork included from the day she was built...
