Description
F-AZKI, a beautiful Bulldog T Mk1 which represents a significant piece of RAF history. The Bulldog played a crucial role as a primary trainer for RAF pilots in the 1970s and 1980s. Excelling in its training capabilities, this iconic aircraft instilled confidence in its pilots. Its robust design and exceptional handling characteristics made it an ideal choice for pilot training.
Today, F-AZKI maintains the Bulldog s legacy, brought back to life with excellent paint work and an attentional to detail.
This particular aircraft, with the serial number XX-615, has a rich history starting from its first flight with the Royal Air Force in 1974. After serving with the RAF, XX-615 was transferred to Woodvale in 1983, where it became part of the university Air Squadron and continued its vital role in pilot training.
Most importantly the engine was overhauled in November 2021 and has around 50 hours to date. Featuring recently upholstered seats in a green leather, this adds a touch of sophistication to its classic interior. This tasteful upgrade enhances the comfort and aesthetic appeal of the cabin and complements the vintage charm of the Bulldog.
