Description
In our effort to renew our fleet with diesel engines consuming Jet A-1, we'll be soon selling our own DA20-C1 s/n C0597 with the G500 "mini glass cockpit". Maintenance has been carried out by our own Diamond Service Center, Aeropole Aircraft Maintenance Oy.
Possibility to buy and keep in Finland (OH-) registry, allowing extended operation beyond engine TBO quite flexibly (+50% even in commercial ATO schooling).
The aircraft is approved for spins.
MTOM 800 kg, BEM only 553.2 kg => plenty of useful load.
NB: a/c is in active ATO use and hours are subject to change. Data as of 03-Apr-2025 and subject to change, as this workhorse is out on the field! Available for inspection in Finland (EFLA or EFTP), time of delivery to be agreed.
Airplane time state:
TTSN airframe 3048 h.
Injected Continental IO-240-B Continental engine with 420 h left to TBO (2200 h), but under Finland (OH) registry even commercial schooling is possible for 50% beyond TBO, and in private use even longer. (Aircraft can be kept in OH registry!)
The 12-year calendar time limit on the engine is due only in 2031. Engine almost overhauled ca. 230 h ago, incl. new magnetos, new gears and lifters, ensuring long operation beyond TBO hours.
The more performant MT-Propeller MT175 R 150-2Ca, 230 h since new or OH, i.e. 1970 h left to TBO of 2200 h.
50-hour inspection performed on 03-Apr-2025 at 3048 h TTAF.
200-hour inspection/annual performed at 3002 h TTAF, along with
- new safety harnesses (seat belts)
- new bellcrank assys in the flap mechanism -- improved, safer design.
1000-hour inspection performed on 13-Jul-2023 at 2724 h TTAF, so plenty of hours left till the next one at 3724 h TTAF.
