G-BKXO has been hangared for over the last 10 years either at RAF Kinloss or at its current base in Inverness.
Its fantastic fun to fly, but time, work and good weather (lack of) getting in the way use, so time to take up another hobby
The Rutan Long Ez needs a minimum of 500m hard surface.

G-XO cruises along at a 110kts about 2300RPM burning apx 23 LPH or if you wish to get there quicker 130kts at 2500RPM at 25 LPH

I've used on short trips to Oban and flown over most of the Highlands etc and enjoyed every moment of flying it its comfortable and responsive to fly, the LongEZ is still a head turner 40 years after it's design.
