Description

ROBINSON R44 ASTRO FOR SALE
Extensive 2,200-Hour / 12-Year Maintenance Completed in 2026

Robinson R44 Astro with major scheduled maintenance completed in June 2026. The aircraft presents an attractive maintenance status with numerous major airframe and component intervals reset at 4,135:12 hours.

Aircraft

Model: Robinson R44 Astro
Serial Number: 0757
Registration: OE-XXK (formerly G-BZGO)
Total Time: 4,135:12 hours
Hobbs: 4,135:12 hours
Maintenance status reference: 22 July 2026

These basic aircraft data are directly stated in the maintenance status.

MAJOR MAINTENANCE STATUS

A major maintenance event was recorded on 22 June 2026 at 4,135:12 hours.

The next RHC 2,200-hour inspection is shown due at:

6,335:12 hours 2,200 hours remaining

The next 12-year inspection is shown due on:

22 June 2038

This is one of the aircraft's strongest selling points: many of the major R44 components and maintenance items are consequently shown with 2,200 hours remaining and/or calendar limits extending to June 2038.

MAIN ROTOR SYSTEM

Main Rotor Blades

P/N: C016-7
S/N: 18314 / 18326
Revision: AK
Remaining: 2,200 FH
Due: 6,335:12 FH
Calendar limit: 01 October 2040

The maintenance schedule separately shows the C016-7 blade/C158-1 spindle assembly 12-year maintenance due 01 October 2027. This should not be hidden in a sales advertisement, because a knowledgeable R44 buyer will notice it during pre-buy review.

I would therefore state this separately in the detailed specification rather than advertising simply "2,200 hours remaining on everything."

TAIL ROTOR BLADES

Tail Rotor Blades

P/N: C029-3
S/N: 21587 / 21510
Revision: R
Remaining: 2,140:30 FH
Due: 6,275:42 FH
Calendar limit: 23 October 2039

MAIN ROTOR / TRANSMISSION COMPONENTS

The maintenance status shows several important components with the new 2,200-hour interval to 6,335:12 FH, including the main gearbox gear set, main rotor hub, main rotor spindle, main gearbox sump and main gearbox housing.

The Main Rotor Gearbox Assembly, S/N 13319, is shown with its next 12-year service due 22 June 2038 and its 2,200-hour TBO position due at 6,335:12 FH.

This supports a strong but accurate sales phrase such as:

Major drivetrain components with up to 2,200 hours remaining following the 2026 maintenance event.

ENGINE

Lycoming O-540-F1B5

S/N: L-25569-40A
Maintenance/overhaul reference date: 22 June 2026
Aircraft TT at start: 4,135:12
Engine overhaul requirement: 2,000 FH / 144 months, with a documented 200 FH extension provision
Maintenance status indicates 2,200 FH remaining
Calendar due: 22 June 2038

The document also schedules the inspections applicable to a new/rebuilt/overhauled engine, beginning with the first 10-hour and 25-hour inspections.

For an advertisement I would therefore write:

Lycoming O-540-F1B5 maintenance/overhaul cycle commenced June 2026 at aircraft TT 4,135:12; up to 2,200 FH shown remaining in the current maintenance status.

I would not write brand-new engine unless the engine logbook or release documentation specifically proves that.

MAGNETOS / ENGINE ACCESSORIES

Both magnetos are recorded with the June 2026 maintenance cycle:

LH Magneto: BL-600616-3, S/N E19EA267R
RH Magneto: BL-600646-201, S/N E18HA062R

The overhaul/replacement schedule records 2,200 FH remaining / calendar to June 2038.

The carburetor and starter are likewise shown with the corresponding engine overhaul interval. The starter is recorded with a date of 16 July 2026.

One exception is important: the alternator does not have 2,200 hours remaining. The document records only 898:06 FH remaining for the alternator.

That is another reason I would avoid a blanket claim such as all components zero time.

AVIONICS / INSPECTIONS

The following inspections were performed/reset on 22 June 2026:

Avionic inspection
Transponder inspection
Pitot-static check
Compass compensation

Their next due date is shown as 22 June 2028 30 days.

Weight & Balance was also performed on 22 June 2026, with the next interval shown for June 2030.

ELT / SAFETY EQUIPMENT

The ELT battery is shown with:

P/N S1840510-01
S/N TM0000346253
Replacement due: 01 March 2032

The halon-free fire extinguisher has a replacement limit of 31 December 2037
