The DR253b is the classic touring aircraft from Robin which combines a large loading capacity with superior cruise speed. MC cruises 123 kts with four adults and 4 hours of fuel.
The DR253 has a wider and larger cabin which is only matched by the later and heavier DR500. The DR253 has the same load carrying and cruise performance due to the light weight and simplicity of the design. MTOM is 1100 kg.
180 hp Lycoming engine and a fixed prop gives excellent performance and cheap maintenance.
MC is being used regularly for 500 NM non-stop traveling.

The aircraft is mechanically sound after a total inspection and undercarriage repair in 2020.The paint could do with refresh after the plane was in club use earlier, but it is fully acceptable for its age. The wing has been covered in Ceconite in the past and will last another lifetime.

Wheel pants included but needs to be fitted.
Option of fitting 50 l auxiliary fuel tank.
New glazing can possibly be provided.

MC is is ready to fly away and can be used for years without major expenses.
