Description

Seabee project.

I recovered this Seabee in Cyprus, where it had been parked for many years at Larnaca Airport.
It is a complete and completely original aircraft, including the engine and propeller.
According to the records, after being imported from America, it was never operated by the flight school that bought it and never made flights other than test flights (on land) after being reassembled due to the school's sudden bankruptcy.
The interior skin and structure is very sound and entirely treated with ACF50.
The exterior has some areas with signs of surface corrosion that can be easily removed.
The wing strut attachments and the wing attachments on the fuselage are the worst areas and need to be replaced due to electrolytic corrosion (they are bolted to the fuselage, drawings are available, and are easy to reproduce, 2024 T3 material).
Otherwise, the aircraft is complete with all its parts but requires a complete restoration.
There are two spare landing gear legs.
I'm selling it for a fraction of what I paid because I've lost interest in this project, so the price is low to entice a new owner to restore this beautiful object .
All the aircraft documents are there, I think from day one onward.

Airplane time state:
TTAF 1361 hours (last inspection on July 7 1998).
Engine TSMO 220 hours (last inspection July 7 1998).
Low hours original propeller, complete hub but one blade needs to be changed.
