Cessna FR172 Rocket

This Cessna FR172 Reims Rocket has been overhauled and modified by the previous owner in 2010. In addition to a new paint job, a new interior and a new engine many desirable modifications have been installed since then. The aircraft features Knots2U speed wheel pants, Flap gap seals, Vortex generators, Flint auxiliary tanks. The airframe modifications increase the cruise speeds by a notable amount (+5 knots) and improve slow flight handling at the same time.
The present owner bought the aircraft in 2012. The aircraft was meticulously maintained regardless of costs for the last 14 years and always hangared in a single hangar.
Payload is slightly above 400kg. Cruise speed is a solid 135KTAS at 10 gal.
In addition the aircraft received a major avionics retrofit including but not limited to a Garmin TAS, GTN750 and STEC55X autopilot. All avionic modifications have been performed by Avionic Straubing.
The aircraft has been used only by the owner mostly for IFR flying.
