Description
Many people prefer the early model Cessna 172 s for their flying characteristics with the non cuffed leading edge, and certainly the owners of EI-AEX will vouch for it s ability. The aircraft regularly is flown overwater, and has been a reliable aircraft in long term ownership by the group at Cork. This 1967 Reims F172H was delivered by Northair in the UK, and still has it s dealer sticker in the baggage area. The aircraft was recently surveyed for an Export Certificate of Airworthiness where it became EI-AEX after spending most of it s life in the UK as G-AVIC.
Blue and white livery with a vinyl wrap was applied in November 2025, with control surfaces stripped and repainted June 2025. Maintained exclusively by Waterford Aircraft Maintenance with full Part-ML standard records. Complete expenditure history available from syndicate formation. A buyer who values a reliable and continuous chain of ownership, with documented past expenditure will appreciate what is on offer here.
