Description

This is a rare and highly capable 130hp Reims-Cessna FRA150 Aerobat an enhanced French-built version of the Cessna 150 Aerobat. Only 545 FRA150L and M models were produced from a total of 24,384 Cessna 150s, making this version exceptionally rare (approximately 1 in 50). Originally designed as a response to the Beechcraft Sport lineup, the Aerobat is aerobatic certified to +6g / -3g and features numerous airframe reinforcements and modifications for safe aerobatic performance. Highlights include wide-chord struts, skylights, quick-release doors, four-point harnesses, a G-meter, and structural enhancements throughout.

This specific aircraft, OZ, was featured on the front cover of Flyer Magazine and thoroughly flight-tested. It underwent a full restoration in 2013, followed by consistent and well-documented maintenance. The aircraft has been operated and maintained by serious enthusiasts and Aero Anglia for the past 8 years.
