DAMAGE HISTORY - DISCLOSED
On 17 October 2013, while Swiss-registered and based at Thun, the aircraft suffered a propeller strike. It was repaired at the time to the manufacturers' mandatory standard by approved organisations, and the paperwork accompanies the aircraft:
- Engine removed and completely disassembled, crankshaft inspected in accordance with Continental mandatory service bulletin MSB96-16A, by CERMEC Motor SA (EASA Part-145, CH.145.0212), work report 47349, released "engine repaired" on 28 November 2013.
- Propeller overhauled by Hoffmann Propeller GmbH (LBA approved) on 13 November 2013 under EASA Form 1 N 680/2013, with one blade replaced by new.
- Propeller and governor refitted per Cessna Service Manual D2006-4-13, aircraft returned to service on 31 December 2013 at 1,900 hrs.
The engine has since flown approximately 540 hours without issue, and the propeller was overhauled again in January 2020. The event is recorded in the original Swiss engine and propeller logbooks, which come with the aircraft. It is stated here openly because a buyer is entitled to know it.
Aircraft located at Larnaca, Cyprus (LCLK). Inspection and a demonstration flight welcome.
