In my opinion, G-LIMR is the best looking and specified Bristell NG5 in the UK. She attracts attention wherever we go. I should be on commission! :-)

Bristell NG5 personal view:
Beautiful aircraft. Modern design. Easy to Fly (Stick not yoke). Emergency Parachute.
All metal design not composite. Hopefully never needed, but dings and dents can be more easily repaired.
Group A not a microlight, so file a Flight plan, a GAR and you re off to France/Europe. None of the faff and restrictions surrounding Microlight operation. Trust me, it s liberating. You Fancy Le-Touquet this afternoon? Just go! Try that in a microlight! Been there, tried that. Of course, its possible, but for me the contrast in simplicity is huge.
We did one trip to France last Autumn and have more planned for this flying season (in the new one obvs). Home Calais Chartres Troyes Le Touquet Home. Just fantastic. Two of us, luggage in the back, luggage in the two 20kg each wing lockers. Easy.
We have literally just done a 100% bang on (and expensive) Carb Balance and Prop Balance. She s flying beautifully now. Neither item was far out, but combined there s a noticeable difference in smooth flight.
The avionics are next level. Overkill in some respects, but I wanted a top-notch build. Highlights below, but they cost 25k alone.
The build cost total that I can prove is over 175k. A no-expense spared approach. Every expense spent more like! If we did this again there s no way we would spend this much on it, but if you buy this plane, you re the one that will benefit from it.
The most important thing: This aircraft is bugs/issues free, ready to go.
Sadly, people have and will, kill themselves by inadvertently entering IMC conditions. If you re not experienced in IMC they say you have 20-30 seconds before you start to lose control of the aircraft. This is repeat repeat, sadly. G-LIMR If you enter IMC, you simply push the LEVEL button on the Autopilot. Press Heading mode. Turn the heading bug 180 degrees and she ll fly you back out in perfect safety. We practice this manoeuvre all the time along with engine off practice into our home base.

Ray Allen G407 Stick Grip (PTT, 2x AUX and 4x TRIM) The auto-pilot can be engaged/disengaged directly from the stick. I know of only one other NG5 with this option. Time and again these stick buttons prove invaluable. You need to disconnect the AP? No reaching for a screen or AP panel, just push a button on the stick! It s the small things that matter sometimes.
Full dual controls with adjustable pedals.
Real two-seat capability: full fuel, full luggage, pilot and passenger no problem. Luggage space includes a compartment behind the seats and two wing lockers (20 kg each)
Modern, Dry hangered from new. Not a tent type.
PRICE: 155k ONO. Cheaper than many new Microlights these days. Why would you?
