Wilco Aviation is proud to exclusively offer this 1978 Piper PA32-300 Cherokee Six to the market. G-CSIX has undergone extensive work in recent years, including a complete engine overhaul by Isenburg in 2019, avionics upgrades carried out by RGV in Gloucester, new paintwork (2019), and various interior enhancements. Routine maintenance was performed by The Classic Aeroplane Company at Oaksey Park, with more recent upkeep at North Weald.

The Cherokee Six 300 is an exceptionally versatile aircraft for its class. Powered by a 300HP Lycoming engine and fitted with a three-blade variable-pitch propeller, this aircraft has the performance to operate from strips as short as 400 metres (as it regularly does), or to carry up to five passengers over longer distances thanks to its impressive useful load of nearly 1,300 lbs. With a climb rate of over 1,000 feet per minute, it doesn t take long to reach its economical cruising speed of an impressive 135 knots. Whether it s for hopping between farm strips on sunny days or undertaking a five-hour cross-continental journey with passengers and luggage, the advanced Garmin avionics package ensures most of the workload is taken care of. The Cherokee Six has rightfully earned a reputation as an exceptionally stable IFR platform.

The Cherokee Six and its successors are equipped with a nose baggage compartment located between the cockpit and engine bay, capable of holding up to 100 lbs of luggage. A large rear double door also provides easy passenger boarding and can accommodate a further 100 lbs of cargo. This particular aircraft features rear club seating for added passenger comfort.

G-CSIX benefits from notably low engine and propeller hours since their overhaul in 2019, a high-spec IFR-capable avionics suite, and its eye-catching paintwork completed the same year. Cherokee Sixes are rarely available on the market, and 300HP examples in this specification are even more scarce.

All Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins (SBs) have been complied with, including the Eddy Current wing spar inspection completed in 2022. Full logs and maintenance records are available for inspection.
